A Course for Spiritual Seekers

Outline of the sessions:

Sense & Sensitivity is an invitation to take a spiritual journey using the five senses as starting points and doorways. Each of the five small group sessions lasts about 1¼ hours and is best run in a home or in some other comfortable neutral venue.

This course has been created by Chris & Sheila Chesterton:

  • to respond to the needs of spiritual seekers. There are many of these in our society but they tend to think that the church has little to offer and turn more readily to New Age practices.
  • to help people strengthen their spirit. Strengthening the spirit is a biblical concept: 'I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his spirit in your inner being.' Ephesians 3:16
  • to explore new ways of communicating biblical stories that draw the hearer into the narrative.

The Introduction has fuller details of the ideas behind the course and how to use it effectively. Read this now.
